University of Wah hosted the 7th Pak-Turk International Conference on Emerging Technologies in the Field of Sciences and Engineering on 14-15 October 2024. This prestigious conference fostered collaboration between Pakistan and Türkiye, bringing together leading national and international experts to highlight shared technological advancement and innovation goals. More than 121 participants from different countries participated in this two-day significant event. Keynote speakers from Türkiye, Pakistan, Japan, Ukraine, Malaysia, Canada, Austria, Denmark and Saudi Arabia shared their research findings in the fields of Nuclear Astrophysics, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Material Science, Physics, Biotechnology, Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Environmental Sciences, AI, and Computer Engineering.
Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah, in his welcome address, emphasized the importance of international cooperation in shaping the future of emerging technologies, particularly in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and sustainable energy solutions. Prof. Nabi welcomed delegates, researchers, and industry professionals, underscoring the significance of the conference in sparking innovative ideas and driving global collaboration. He also expressed pride in the participation of young researchers, encouraging them to take advantage of this unique opportunity and be inspired by the significant role they play in the future of technology.
Brig. (R) Nafees Afzal Satti, Managing Director, POF Welfare Trust, Chief Guest of the inaugural session, appreciated the University of Wah’s efforts to provide a platform to academicians, industry leaders, and students to engage in meaningful dialogue on the future of technology. He hoped the collaborations forged during this conference would lead to joint research projects and long-term partnerships, further solidifying the university's position in the field.
