Dr. Asma Arif, Asst. Prof./Chairperson, Department of Economics, along with Dr. Muhammad Zahir Iqbal, Associate Prof., Faculty of Engineering Sciences, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Swabi, and Dr. Umaima Arif, Asst. Prof. School of Economics, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, delivered lectures to Ph.D. students working on the electronic vehicle industry and resource dependence at the China University of Geosciences, Beijing, on 28 June 2024. The researcher mobility and joint scientific exchange activities, funded by the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), aim to devise coordinated development policies for China and Pakistan. The participants engaged in a Q&A session, sharing insights and exchanging ideas on enhancing bilateral trade between China and Pakistan, specifically in the electronic vehicle industry. The meeting also familiarized researchers with quality assurance processes and modern academic practices, establishing the groundwork for future collaborative research and enabling knowledge exchange.
