Dr. Asma Arif, Chairperson, Department of Economics-UW and co-partner in a project on Green Belt and Road Issues, Dr. Cao Zhihong, Director, Department of Marxism Sinicization at the School of Marxism Studies, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), recently published an English-language article in Social Science in China Press on 06 June 2024. The article "Green BRI is the Necessity of Our Times" was featured on the third page of the Chinese Social Sciences Today, affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), is highly respected among Chinese universities, research institutes, and think tanks for its comprehensive coverage of social science issues. The publication highlights the collaborative research project between Dr. Asma Arif and Dr. Cao Zhihong, focusing on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) policy and its broader implications. Their work explores various aspects, such as the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), green construction, and ecological progress.
