Read Pakistan- UW Chapter under the flagship of UW Literary and Debating Society, convened its combined fourth and fifth discussion sessions of 2022 on May 16, 2022. Ms. Asma Tahir and Ms. Basma Tahir, students of 6 th semester from Department of Biosciences, hosted the Sessions. Col. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf (R), Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, was the Chief Guest of the Event. Mr. Jawad ul Hassan, Student of 6th Semester, Department of Biosciences recited the verses from the Holy Qur’an to commence the Session, while Ms. Muqaddas Iqbal, student of 6th Semester, Department of Biosciences, presented the Naat. Over 200 students from WEC and Quaid Campuses attended the Event. The book titled “La Haasil” was reviewed by Ms. Areej Khan, Student of 6 th Semester, Department of Chemistry. Ms. Mahrukh Rana, Lecturer from Department of English reviewed the book titled “The Forty Rules of Love”. Poetry, too, was a part of this event. Poets from different departments presented their original work including, Ms. Asma Tahir from Department of Biosciences, Mr. Saad Hassan from Mechanical Engineering Department and Ms. Farea Aamir from Department of English. At the end, the Chief Guest addressed the gathering and distributed Appreciation Certificates among the reviewers and the poets. This enlightening session was concluded with a group photo.
