Department of Sociology, University of Wah, organized a webinar titled "Cultural Divides: Tracing the Impact of the Hindu Caste System on South Punjab's Social Fabric" on 16 January 2025, to promote meaningful discussions on critical sociological issues. The session, conducted both in person and online, featured Ms. Anam Imtiaz, Assistant Professor at Govt. Graduate College for Women, Bahawalpur. She provided valuable insights into the historical and cultural influence of the caste system on South Punjab's social and economic interactions, emphasizing its role in shaping societal divides and the interplay of art and culture in these dynamics. The event concluded with a lively Q&A session, where students and faculty actively engaged with the speaker.
