University of Wah’s students participated in the 3-day (14-16 August 2024) Youth Literature Festival organized by the Pakistan Academy of Letters, Islamabad. A delegation of 20 students, accompanied by DDSA Mr. Waqas Javid and Ms. Riffat Naseer, Lecturer, Department of Islamic Studies, attended the festival, which featured a series of workshops across five slots. During the fete, students received certificates of participation from Director General Mr. Sultan Muhammad Nawaz Nasir and Chairperson Dr. Najeeba Arif, acknowledging their active involvement in the event. Among the standout performers were Mr. Afzaal Ahmed and Mr. Shahriyar from the Economics Department, who excelled in the Intellectual Property Rights workshop, winning prizes for their insightful engagement and contributions. The event provided students with valuable academic and cultural experiences, including engaging dialogues with professors and literary figures, interactive sessions, and visits to literary spaces, fostering a sense of pride in their achievements.
