1. What are the simple steps to be a part of this conference?
STEP I: Register and Upload Abstract/Poster
Wait for notification of acceptance

Once the abstract is accepted, then you will be asked to submit the full length paper.
2. Is there any specific format that I need to follow for submission of abstract/poster/full length article?
Yes, there are specific formats, you can find them at Author Guidelines section.
3. How will I know that my abstract/poster has been accepted?
The acceptance of abstract/paper will be notified to the author via E-mail within a month.
4. Poster presenters need to submit abstract also?
No.
5. Where can I send the full-length paper?
Once the abstract is accepted, then you will be asked to submit the full length paper. Upload your article at Register and Upload Section. You don’t need to register again for uploading the full article, simply enter your CNIC and proceed.
6. Do I have to present the paper at the conference if it is accepted?
Yes, it is compulsory for at least one of the authors of a paper to present their work at the conference.
7. Will the paper be published in any journal once accepted?
The paper will be published online at the University Website

8. What is the registration fee for this conference?
It varies according to category of author/participant and is given in the Payment Guidelines Section.
9. Does one registration fee include facilitation of more than one author of the same paper?
No, one registration fee includes facilitation of one author/participant only i.e. one registration fee for one participant.
10. Can I pay the registration fee on the day of conference at reception?
Yes, on-desk registration facility would be available on the conference day at the venue, but one of the authors must pay registration fee before the conference as this would ensure the inclusion of their papers in the conference proceedings.
11. Can I pay the registration fee online?
Yes, you can. Please visit Payment Guidelines Section.
12. Can I submit more than one abstract/poster under different categories under one registration?
No, a separate registration would be required for every additional submission.
13. Does the registration fee include accommodation charges?
No, it does not include the accommodation charges. Participants traveling from beyond 100 km will be provided complimentary accommodation for 3 nights. Meals not included.
14. What will be the mode of conference?
Conference mode will be physical, online participation is acceptable only for international participants.

Author Guidelines

1. Abstract

  • All abstract submissions must follow the official MRIC Abstract template.
  • Abstract should be between 200-300 words.
  • Use Times New Roman, font size 12, single spacing.
  • Include 4-6 keywords.
  • Submit in MS Word format only (.doc/.docx). MRIC Abstract Template (Word)
  • Upload via the submission portal.
  • All abstracts will be reviewed by the Technical Committee.
  • Approved abstracts will be published in the Conference Abstract Book.

2. Poster

2.1 Poster Format

  • Use the official poster template/header with logos.
  • Your poster must include:
    • Title, Author(s), Affiliation
    • Introduction/Background
    • Methodology
    • Results
    • Conclusion
  • Posters must be self-explanatory, clear, and well-organized.
  • Bring your printed poster and double tape along with you please.

2.2 Poster Size

  • A0 size: 84.1 cm × 118.9 cm (33.1 in × 46.8 in)

2.3 Design Tips

  • Title font: Large and easy to read from a distance.
  • Text font: 17-24 pt is recommended.
  • Use bullet points and visuals (charts, graphs, images) for better clarity.
  • Use color to make the poster attractive but keep it professional.
  • Maintain balance with good spacing and neat alignment.

2.4 Figures & Tables

  • Label each figure/table with a title and number.

3. Full-Length Article

  • Use the official MRIC Paper Template (Word format). MRIC Full Length Template (Word)
  • Assign a Corresponding Author responsible for all communication.
  • Upload via the submission portal.
  • Upon acceptance, authors will receive instructions for camera-ready submission and related deadlines.

Formatting Summary:

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Line Spacing: 1.15
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  • Length: 4-8 pages
  • File Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)

4. Oral Presentation

  • Presentations must be in PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx) and compatible with Windows OS (No specific Template).
  • Total time: 15 minutes (10 min presentation + 5 min Q&A).
  • Send your presentation file via email.
  • All presentations must be in English.
