The Department of Computer Science organized a youth forum on “The Role of Youth in Creating Violence-Free Society” to commemorate the International Youth Day. The day is celebrated every year on 12th August to disseminate awareness regarding the challenges and problems being faced by the youth across the globe. Dr. Wazir Zada Khan, Acting Dean and Chairperson, Department of Computer Science was the Guest Speaker. He explained how youth violence is a global health problem and encouraged the audience to play a constructive role in society. He further shed light on how working together to promote tolerance, co-existence and peace is the key to success. Faculty and students from different departments attended the event and appreciated the insightful remarks given by the Guest Speaker. The session culminated with a note of thanks to all.
