The Department of English offers two degree programs i.e. BS (4-Years) and MA (2-Years) in English Language & literature .The syllabus offered by the Department is regularly revised and is a manifestation of didactic coupled with intellectual capacity.
The degree programs offer the students with the chronological study of literature and language. The courses cover the full range of English studies including literary, linguistics and theoretical concepts to enlarge the mental sphere and to amplify deeper understanding of the related courses. The Department regularly invites eminent speakers, organizes seminars and shows films on literary works. In the recent past, the Department has provided an opportunity to the students to participate in Daramas in collaboration with Dramatic Club of the Government College University, Lahore.
