It is a matter of immense pleasure to congratulate the University of Wah at the start of fresh academic session. The University of Wah chartered in 2009, aims to excel as a premium institution in Wah Cantt and adjoining region by offering professional and liberal arts education at under-graduate and post–graduate levels. It is a matter of satisfaction that universities and institutes in the private sector are performing admirably well alongside Government institutions and providing specialized educational services and research facilities to the masses without discrimination.
Establishment of reputable private universities supports the present Government in attainment of its vision and policies in the education sector. It is heartening to see that the University of Wah, is moving ahead and offering opportunities of education and research to the masses as well as providing professional and skilled human resource in response to the needs of the industry and services sector.
In addition to its dynamic academic programmes, the campus life provide a vibrant environment of extra-curricular activities, clubs and sports to help build a social network and contribute towards holistic personality development of students. It also attracts the alumni to frequently return to the campus, to support the next generation of students, and to contribute in making University of Wah a leading in region and beyond.
I would urge the University of Wah to continue its efforts to become a symbol of excellence in education and research. I congratulate the Vice Chancellor, faculty and administration on start of fresh academic session and wish the newcomers a fulfilling and rewarding experience.
