Quality Assurance Practices in Higher Education Institutions

Directorate of Quality Assurance and Enhancement, University of Wah, organized a national level seminar titled ‘Quality Assurance Practices in Higher Education Institutions’ on 08 May 2017 at UW Seminar Hall. Prof. Khaliq Ur Rehman Shad SI (M), Vice Chancellor, University of Wah was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr Ali Sajid, Chairman Quality and Productivity Society of Pakistan and Air Cdre Abdul Wahab Motla (Retd), Director Quality, Air University, Islamabad were the keynote speakers. The keynote speakers divulged on “Quality through Motivational Leadership” and “Quality Assurance Mechanism in HEI’s and Challenges for future” respectively.

Representative from over 20 Universities from different regions of Pakistan participated in the event. The Vice Chancellor, University of Wah, emphasized on the significance of quality assurance in the education sector and elaborated the dynamic steps taken at the University to establish the system of self-assessments in the University. He apprised the audience that the University of Wah is planning ISO Certification this year. He also informed that UW volunteered for Institutional Performance Evaluation Program (IPEP). In the end the Vice Chancellor distributed certificates amongst the participants. He also gave University shields to the guest speakers.
